Avery Mephistopheles Stout

From the Brewer: Mephistopheles is the crafty shape shifter, the second fallen angel. Amazingly complex, coal black, velvety and liqueurish, this demon has a bouquet of vine-ripened grapes, anise and chocolate covered cherries with flavors of rum-soaked caramelized dark fruits and a double espresso finish. IBU's 107. Mephistopheles is the final installment of The Demons of Ale” series.

Pic taken in "The Den of Iniquity" by Herr Rick. The name on the glass is also quite fitting >:D

Overall Impression:
This Hellish brew packs a very powerful punch!!! Initial tastes remind me of Weyerbacher's Old Heathen Imperial Stout in regards to the types of flavors (dark fruit), yet waaaaaay more intense. As it warmed up, the chocolate flavors became much more dominant. This one is way beyond mere mortalz. Newbeez should avert their eyes - Godz and Devilz only!!!
