This needs to be sipped like a cognac. One and done for me!

Overall Impression:
Not my favorite R.I.S. It did taste better than the last one I had (maybe due to some cellaring) as the beer warms, more notes come through. I met Brian Boaks at the Philly Winter Beer Fest and he told me that the beer was aged a year before distribution.
I agree with Herr Mike's assessment: I was not impressed by this beer at all. Unlike HM, I'm a HUGE fan of R.I.S. so I probably would have scored this even lower, had I done an official review at the time

Still, I'd like to try some more beers from them, and possibly a different batch of this one.
