Overall Impression:
This is the classic Norther English Brown Ale!  It is smooth, warm nutty, and it has the signature butterscotch and mineral character that Samuel Smith beers are known for.  It simply does not get better than this!  As it was with their Taddy Porter, this was like revisiting a long lost friend.  I love Samuel Smith beers and I will be drinking them often.
