Golden color, clear, with a fluffy white head and great lacing

Smell: 9.5
Nice and fruity featuring pear and pineapple mostly, with a a touch of Brett funk, and floral/spicy Saaz hops

Taste: 10
Lots of fruit, with Brett, graham cracker, and spicy hops. Very complex with a long finish. Very Funkilicious!

Mouthfeel: 9
Light-medium body with medium-high carbonation, and a crisp, dry finish

Drinkability: 9
Highly quaffable, but be careful, the high ABV can sneak up on you

Overall Impression:
I love Brett, beers from Allagash, beers from De Proeff, and this one was no exception.  Issac Newton's mistakenly had this listed as a Tripel, so I was thrown off at first because this was obviously a Belgian Strong Pale Ale. The Brett and graham cracker created an interesting flavor combination that I really enjoyed. The Brett was not overwhelming, so if you are new to Wild/Brett beers, this would be a great one to try....if you can find it.

Light copper color, slightly cloudy, not much head with little to no lacing

Smell: 9
Wine, brett funk, oak, vanilla, apple

Taste: 8
Up Front: Sour apple, oak, Brett funk.
Finish: White grape, white wine, Belgian yeast

Mouthfeel: 8.5
Creamy, medium body with low carbonation.

Drinkability: 7.5
Slightly tart with a dry finish

Overall Score: 8.2

Cost/12 oz serving: $10.10

Overall Impression:
A very complex beer that had too much of a wine-like flavor for my palate. Maybe I just wasn't in the mood? It is no doubt an excellent beer, but the flavor combination did not work for me. At $19.99 + tax, I would advise against trying it unless you're big on wine.

Chocolate, espresso, and subtle cloves

Up Front: Chocolate, and roasted malts. Finish: Chocolate, spices, and a slight smokiness

Medium body, creamy with medium carbonation

Very drinkable and interesting beer

Overall Impression:
This is billed as a Belgian Stout, and it delivers. It has the body and mouthfeel of a Begian Ale, with the chocolate/roasted malt/coffee flavors of a stout in addition to some subtle flavors associated with Belgians. Yet another winner from Allagash!

Medium body, low carbonation, and a little sticky

Smooth and easy to drink

Overall Impression:
We felt this beer's flavor was a bit weak for the style, but he flavor was reasonably complex and balanced. A good American made example that should go over well with Newbeez

Golden honey color, medium head with decent lacing

Bourbon, vanilla, slight fruit

It tastes like it smells. The flavor is amazingly complex and well balanced

Creamy, and smooth; Perfect!

Drinkability: 9.5
You'd never know this was 11% abv!!! Very easy to drink, but be careful mortalz

Cost/12 oz serving: $6.00 - In bottles for home consumption it would be about the same, perhaps a little less.

Overall Impression:
We lovez us some Bourbon! The fact that Allagash was able to blend that flavor perfectly with a delicate style like a Tripel is just amazing. Even Newbeez might love this beer.
