Yes, I have been on a bit of a Lager binge lately, but this one was just ok. Triumph usually puts out excellent beer in every style, but this one fell just a little bit short. Still worth trying tho, especially if you love Pilsners.

Overall Score: 8.6

Thanks to can, you can enjoy this beer at home. Stay away from the bottled versions...unless you happen to enjoy light-struck (skunky) beers. This is THE original Pilsner! However, it is no longer fermented and matured in oak vats, so it is not as full-bodied as it once was, nor does it have the slight buttery character that I remember. Having said that, it is still a great beer, especially considering the price.

Food Pairings:
Excellent with spicy dishes!

Pilsner is not a style I drink often, but this is certainly one I would drink when I'm in the mood for something light, crisp, and refreshing. This is a great "starter" beer for Newbeez!
